Visual Drive offers comprehensive insights into key driving metrics, including speed, braking, acceleration, and more, providing personalized feedback based on your driving behaviors. By harnessing the power of technology, Visual Drive promotes a culture of safety on the roads.
About the Visual Drive App
The Visual Drive app provides feedback to drivers on five metrics for each trip taken:
- Rapid acceleration (sudden shifts to high speeds from lower speeds)
- Harsh braking (brake-slamming and the sudden, drastic reduction in speed)
- Sharp turns (speeding while driving around corners)
- At-risk speeding (driving a certain threshold over the posted speed limit)
- Phone distraction (having your cellphone in-hand with the screen on while driving)
Visual Drive tracks trips while in the background on the driver’s phone. Users receive a score after completing each trip. They also see how they measured in each metric and get tips to improve their rating.
How to Sign Up
To sign up, all you have to do is to download the app and follow the prompts to set up your account. You’ll need to register your username/handle, phone number, email address, and user group ID.
Here is how to sign up:
Use your user handle (i.e. SafeDriver, HelloKitty, etc.) for items 1, 2 and 3 below. Input your email address and phone number so we can contact you for any updates. You don’t need to fill out the remaining fields.

How Does Visual Drive Track Your Score?
Trip Summary
The overall score of your latest trip will be displayed in star ratings and are available in 3 – 5 minutes after each individual trip.
Driving Trends
Average scores in each metric are displayed to review your driving habits over time.
Streaks
Visual Drive keeps a record of all your trips with perfect scores in each metric.
