As Hawaii businesses slowly reopen, it’s important to do what we can to support them! As part of DTRIC’s Support Local Businesses Campaign, many employees make purchases from local restaurants. Sushi Sasabune first opened in 1997 with a commitment to bringing an authentic Omakase style sushi to Hawaii using locally sourced ingredients. Saori visited Yung Yee Kee Dim Sum and got some of her favorites! Located near Ala Moana Center on Kapiolani Boulevard, this Dim Sum restaurant is open for takeout and dine-in.

Our employees are paying it forward with the Support Local Businesses Campaign! Our teammate Saori and her husband enjoyed the famous lobster roll and chicharrones plate from Feast by Chef Jon Matsubara. Chef Jon began his culinary career at Alan Wong’s and Roy’s before establishing his own restaurant in Manoa.
