Martha Nobriga, Vice President of Agency Relations at DTRIC Insurance, has been appointed President of the Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals (HAIP).

HAIP is the local chapter of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP). In addition to an array of events and courses, HAIP provides opportunities for members to network and learn from colleagues across the insurance industry. In addition to her duties as president, Nobriga will also serve as the Hawaii membership liaison of IAIP.

Nobriga is a veteran in Hawaii’s insurance industry with more than 40 years of experience. As HAIP president, her priorities will be to educate, enrich and empower its members. By harnessing the immense talent of local insurance professionals, she aims to connect members through enhanced education and leadership development.

Founded in 1947, HAIP membership has more than doubled in the last two years and now has over 70 individual members and 22 corporate partners, making the Hawaii membership the second largest in the IAIP network.
