HONOLULU (July 12, 2021) – DTRIC Insurance was recently named 2020-2021 Corporate Partner of the Year by the Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals (HAIP). The annual recognition acknowledges the contributions of a member company to the local insurance industry. The award was presented at HAIP’s annual meeting in May 2021.

DTRIC was honored for its support of HAIP’s professional development opportunities for members and community service efforts, as well as assistance to provide insurance education to University of Hawaii – West Oahu students. DTRIC also helped to facilitate HAIP’s monthly membership meetings with virtual platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Founded in 1947, HAIP is the local chapter of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) with more than 70 individual members and 22 corporate partners, making the Hawaii membership the second largest in the IAIP network. In addition to an array of events and courses, HAIP provides opportunities for members to network and learn from colleagues across the insurance industry.
