Dennis Rae, CPCU
Dennis Rae has been with DTRIC Insurance since 2015. As Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer, he manages personal and commercial lines, agency relations and claims, as well as the DTRIC’s marketing efforts. Dennis was previously Vice President of Personal Lines responsible for DTRIC’s personal underwriting and servicing departments while also managing its extensive customer contact center. He is credited with being an integral part of the company’s ongoing growth and profitability, as well as customer satisfaction.
Dennis has more than 25 years of experience in personal lines of insurance, providing expertise from his previous roles with both national carriers and independent agencies. He was the co-founder and president of an independent insurance agency in Aledo, Texas, specializing in personal line and small commercial lines.
He is a member of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Society, and has a certificate in general insurance through the Insurance Institute of America. Dennis also has his Hawaii property and casualty insurance license. As an active member of the community, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii. Dennis received his undergraduate degree in finance from Louisiana Tech University.
