We wrapped up our 2020 Aloha United Way workplace campaign, and together we raised $27,842! Mahalo to our DTRIC Ohana for their generosity and commitment to helping our community during these uncertain times. Special mahalo to our Human Resources and IT department for coming up with creative ways to raise money using online donations and a virtual auction!
DTRIC is proud to announce our Support Local Businesses Campaign which encourages employees to support local businesses affected by COVID-19. Our teammate, Dean supported local with 3660 on the Rise’s No Cooking Friday menu.
DTRIC Personal Lines Vice President Dennis Rae is passionate about serving those in need. For the past four years, Dennis has volunteered with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the board.
DTRIC and its agency partners held virtual check presentations with representatives from the respective food banks this month. DTRIC and its employees “challenged” their agency partners and insurance agents to raise funds for the Hawaii Foodbank, Maui Food Bank, Hawaii Food Basket on Hawaii Island, and Hawaii Foodbank Kauai through a virtual food drive. The insurance company committed to matching agents’ donations dollar for dollar up to $25,000 statewide.
